| Coach Verdugo Coach Cody Verdugo played football at La Habra High School, Fullerton College and at Chapman University. He was awarded a BA in History in 2001 from Chapman and earned an MA in Education from National University in 2004. Coach Verdugo has been a teacher at La Habra High School since 2001 where he is currently the football team's assistant defensive coordinator, specializing in defensive backs and special teams and is also the team's speed trainer. Coach Verdugo has also served as the LHHS head track coach. After the '07 football season he will be coaching the LHHS girls soccer team and the golf team and is certified in emergency first aid and CPR. Because of his playing experience and many years of coaching, Coach Verdugo is well qualified in the field of speed training and actively applies these techniques in all his coaching roles. Coach Verdugo is specially proud of his '07 football team that went undefeated to become '07 CIF champs. |
