Speed 101

  • Intense Physical Conditioning

    Speed 101 is an intense physical training program designed to enhance athletic agility, quickness and speed using advanced training techniques and specialized, state of the art equipment.  Speed 101graduates also gain in explosive power, strength and stamina,  

    Raw Speed Enhancement

    Speed 101 aids athletic development through the use of a professionally designed training regimen.  The program provides for core physical development  with an emphasis on raw speed enhancement, triple extension power, explosive movements, change of direction and footwork skills.

  • Improves Aerobic and Anaerobic Performance

Research has shown that there are two types of muscle fibers known as slow and fast twitch.

Slow twitch muscle fibers are smaller and are powered by aerobic metabolism chemistry. Fast twitch muscle fibers are larger and powered by anaerobic metabolism chemistry.  Generally, a muscle with a higher percentage of fast twitch fibers reacts more quickly but fatigues sooner.  Slow twitch fibers provide longer lasting power but are relatively slow to react.

The Speed 101 program strives to achieve a balance between slow and fast twitch muscle development through a series of core physical exercises and the use of specialized speed and strength training equipment.

Speed 101 is applicable to all sports and athletes, male and female.  Whether for  soccer or football, tennis or baseball; Speed 101 is designed to improve speed and agility, strength and stamina - factors critical to all sports.  

A variety of exercises, drills and specialized equipment are used to improve general conditioning and muscle toning, aerobic capacity and anaerobic efficiency leading to significant improvements in strength, agility and speed.
